Salpa Stages will be held: Routes will move to gravel roads

We have received a response from the Finnish Food Authority regarding the African Swine Fever (ASF) infection zone in the area. According to the authority's preliminary assessment, a permit for movement in the terrain (such as on hiking trails) will not be granted for disease control reasons.

The event will be organized, but for safety reasons we are moving to our contingency plan:

  • The route runs along gravel roads: The entire running and cycling routes for the event will be on gravel paths, which is permitted within the guidelines set by the authorities.
  • Instructions for participants and the audience: Please note that going off-road, meaning outside the road area, is also forbidden for the public.
  • Route adjustment: At the request of the authorities, we are modifying the route further away from the core infection zone to give the work to locate dead wild boar in the area peace to carry out their task.


We take biosecurity seriously and do everything we can to ensure a successful and safe event. We thank all participants and partners for their understanding!
