Mandatory Equipment

Mandatory equipment for all series:

  • A working mobile phone with a charged battery, with the competition center's number saved in it.
  • Organizer-issued race number
  • Timing device (SIAC) provided by the organizer in categories where timing is taken
  • GPS tracker provided by the organizer in the Kaukopartio series
  • Drinking bottle and/or drinking pouch. Combined volume at least 750ml

Mandatory equipment for bicycle categories:

  • Bicycle helmet
  • A device suitable for GPS trail tracking (e.g., cycling computer or watch)
  • Tire repair kit/spare inner tube, tire levers
  • Multitool

Kaukopartio run 100 km mandatory equipment:

  • Device suitable for GPS tracking. If it's a sports watch, ensure the device displays the correct map rather than just a trail on an empty background.
  • Headlamp
  • Space blanket

Kaukopartio Gravel 300 km mandatory equipment:

  • Device suitable for GPS tracking. If it's a sports watch, ensure the device displays the correct map rather than just a trail on an empty background.
  • Lights on the front and rear of the bicycle
  • Space blanket
