Situation update on the African Swine Fever (ASF) exception permit application
We are continuing with the event arrangements and clarifying the situation related to the African swine fever control zone with the authorities. The Finnish Food Authority has not yet had time to process the exemption application we submitted for the use of the terrain route in the Miehikkälä and Virolahti area.
As the event approaches, we want to be completely transparent about the different options and the decision-making timeline.
We are still in active contact with the Finnish Food Authority and await an official decision on our application by next Thursday, August 13, 2026.
We will announce the final resolution and next steps immediately on Thursday, August 13, 2026, once we have received a response or the deadline has passed.
