Gravel Rally
A new gravel cycling format that has been wildly popular.
Gravel cycling, where you ride “special stages” like a rally. The special stage starts with a timed start every 30 seconds. You can ride the transitions with a friend at your own pace.
The most spectacular and fastest gravel roads in Miehikkälä have been selected for the event. Some of the sections are legendary “Southeast Rally” sections.
Challenge yourself and your friends to race with a twinkle in the corner of your eye and with pace that is just right for you!
The start and finish are located at the Miehikkälä Salpa Line Museum, where food and drinks will be available after completing the route! There are showers both for riders and bikes!
The service point is located after the fifth special stage at Hauhian Mylly.

Gravel Ralli Half Gas
The 55 km route includes a total of 5 special stages, which are 4 – 12.8 kilometers long. The special stage kilometers add up to a total of 38 km. The total ascent on the route is about +900 m, so it will be not easy!
Competitors have a maximum of 7 hours to complete the race.
Gravel Ralli Full Gas
The 110 km route includes a total of 10 special stages, which are 4 – 12.8 kilometers long. The special stage kilometers add up to a total of 76 km. The route has a total ascent of approximately +1800 m, so a tough day of riding is expected!
Competitors have a maximum of 7 hours to complete the race.
There is an official at the start of the special stage who sends the competitors on their way. Essential information about the upcoming special stage can also be found at the start. 500m before the finish line of the special stage, there is a sign on the route "500 m to the finish".
The route is marked for intersections, but we highly recommend downloading the GPS track to your sports watch or bike computer.
Special Stages
SS 1/6 Ultramag Rakola
Rakola, the legendary Rakola. If you ask the locals about a rally track, the answer is invariably Rakola. Fast, narrow, winding dirt road. This rally couldn't be opened more deliciously!
SS 2/7 Liikenne Vuorela Laajanpohja
From Pitkäkoski the rally continues back east at least as fast as from Rakola to the west. Immediately another rally classic. It's good to save your legs for the last kilometers long gentle hill before the checkered flag takes welcomes to the finnish line.
SS 3/8 Kirkkotie
A brisk pull towards Suur-Miehikkälä. A few nice up'n downs at the beginning of the stage and then with the full throttle ahead towards the north. Guaranteed dirt road.
SS 4/9 Lipputangonmäki
From Pitkäkoski the rally continues back east at least as fast as from Rakola to the west. Immediately another rally classic. It's good to save your legs for the last kilometers long gentle hill before the checkered flag takes welcomes to the finnish line.
SS 5/10 Vuoliainen Hanhilampi
A 10km special stage from Hostika to Hauhia. The fast gravel road continues. This is a little bit steeper than the previous stage, but you can't rest here either!
