Your information is stored on the eventio.fi portal when you register for an event. Your information is also entered into the SportIdent results service program.
Basis and purpose of keeping the register
We collect personal data for the purpose of organizing our events and publishing the results of the events. We collect an email list for the purpose of marketing and informing about the events and related products.
Purpose of processing personal data and use of the register
Personal data is processed only for predefined purposes, which are as follows:
- customer relationship management
- informing about our services
Personal data stored in the register
Participant registers contain the following information:
- Name
- Address
- Phone Number
- Date of birth
- Race series in which you participate
- Possibly information about purchased ancillary products and services
- Result data accumulated during the event
Data subject rights
Right of inspection
The data subject has the following rights, requests for the exercise of which should be made to the contact details in section 1.
The data subject can check the personal data we have stored. Typically, our registration service sends the data subject a personal data check and change link, excluding group registrations.
Right to rectification of data
The data subject may request the correction of incorrect or incomplete information.
Right to object
The data subject may object to the processing of personal data if they feel that the personal data has been processed unlawfully.
Direct marketing ban
The data subject may prohibit the use of their data for direct marketing. The data subject may separately consent to being added to the list when registering.
Right of withdrawal
The data subject has the right to request the deletion of data if the processing of the data is not necessary. We will process the deletion request, after which we will either delete the data or provide a justified reason why the data cannot be deleted.
Withdrawal of consent
The data subject may appeal the decision to the Data Protection Ombudsman.
The data subject has the right to demand that we restrict the processing of disputed data until the matter is resolved.
Right of appeal
The data subject has the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman if he or she feels that we are violating applicable data protection legislation when processing personal data.

We have ensured that all our service providers comply with data protection legislation. We regularly use the following service providers:

- Eventio
In addition, we regularly disclose performance statistics to the following registers:
- Information channels
- Results service
Processing time
We store the information necessary to present the results “forever”.
Personal data processors
The data controller and its employees process personal data. We may also outsource some of the processing of personal data to a third party, in which case we guarantee through contractual arrangements that the personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and otherwise appropriately.
Transfer of data outside the EU
Data is routinely transferred outside the EU or the European Economic Area. When data is transferred outside the EU and the EEA, we ensure an adequate level of protection of personal data, including by agreeing on matters related to the confidentiality and processing of personal data as required by law.

We do not use the information for automated decision-making or profiling.
